WEP Key Generator
Microsoft broke the passphrase hashing in WinXP SP2. Prior to SP2, you could type in a
13-character passphrase and Windows would hash it into a 128-bit WEP key for you.
The tooltip-help still indicates this is the case; however, it doesn't work. You have to put in the full hex key.
If you get the error "Limited or no connectivity", try entering the hex version of your WEP passphrase
(e.g., a full WEP key). You can generate a full hex key by using the form below.
